An Insurance Support Associate is an entry level insurance operations position that services active life and disability policies for an insurance brokerage general agency. This position allows new employees to become acquainted with the life and disability insurance industry as well as our company culture. Working hours are 8 AM until 5 PM, Monday through Friday.


  • Communicate with various insurance carriers to process changes to client policies
  • Maintain client insurance holdings through our CRM, SalesForce
  • Prepare forms and applications for policy adjustments
  • Advise sales teams on best practices when servicing active policies and working with our different insurance carriers


  • Coordinate multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and in groups
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills no matter how difficult the customer
  • Prioritize daily task and project lists so that all work is completed on time
  • Set daily personal goals and strive to obtain them with excellence
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal client information

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of insurance products (Term Life, VUL, Individual Disability, Overhead Expense, etc.) is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and training retention
  • High organizational and problem solving skills
  • High proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office products

Licenses and Education:

  • Associates Degree or higher — Preferred
