Brad Meyers is a Financial Advisor that focuses on comprehensive financial planning for physicians in Orange County, San Diego and Northern California. He prides himself on being trustworthy and honest, especially when it comes to the private areas of personal finance. Brad is very passionate about helping clients develop their goals, as well as a sound financial plan to take the stress off their everyday lives. The work/life balance can be difficult sometimes as a physician, which is why Brad strives to be a one-stop resource for his clients; everything from risk management to investments to asset protection. “Educate to motivate. Physicians spend enough time in school to know what decisions are best for them, especially when all of the options are put on the table. Transparency is key.” He holds the following designations: Series 7, 66 and Life/Health.
Brad attended college at Loyola Marymount University and went on to play professional baseball for a combined eight years, split between the Washington Nationals and New York Yankees. He noticed a commonality between the two different worlds of medicine and baseball. Both require years of focus in order to perfect a craft. He realized it is sometimes difficult to look outside of what you are trying to accomplish, something called the “horse blinder effect.” So much attention is spent doing one thing that you do not have the time or tenacity to give attention to anything else. After finally putting all of that into perspective, Brad has started working toward his CFP designation knowing he wanted to help professionals maintain a lifestyle they desired while simultaneously working toward financial independence.
Brad resides in Newport Beach with his girlfriend, Natalie, and in his spare time enjoys running on the strand, mountain biking, body surfing and going to concerts. He also enjoys watching and cheering on local sport teams, the Angels and Ducks.
