Lauren Oschman joined Larson Financial Group in May 2010 to open the Nashville, TN office. She has become a frequent speaker at workshops and seminars throughout Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and surrounding areas. Lauren helps guide young physicians during the journey from residency or fellowship into practice, as well as working with established physicians who are well into their careers to become more tax-efficient with their investment portfolio and develop an asset protection strategy.
Since her father is a cardiologist, Lauren knows firsthand how demanding physicians’ schedules can be – balancing pressure at work with family responsibilities and still trying to come up with time to enjoy personal hobbies. Considering the delayed gratification, heavy tax burden and increased liability that come with being a physician, Lauren understands that navigating personal finance can be daunting and thus she has crafted her team as a one-stop shop to coordinate the entirety of her clients’ financial lives. She is also passionate about teaching and takes the time to help physicians engage in financial education to really understand how a plan comes together. She fully understands that clients place a great deal of trust in her. Lauren highly values all of her client relationships and puts the needs of her clients first.
Lauren graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Economics and minor in Financial Economics. She has also earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Emory University. She currently holds her Series 7, Series 66 and Life & Health registrations. Lauren is a member of Larson Financial Group’s exclusive Chairman’s Club and was recognized as “Rookie of the Year” during her first year with the firm.
Outside the office, Lauren enjoys staying active by hiking, running and weight lifting. She is also an avid college sports fan – she and her husband, Nick, love catching the local Vanderbilt Commodores in action on the football field or baseball diamond – go Dores!
